Workshops: Counted Band Sampler

Evenweave fabric is used for this embroidery and it is based on early samplers which were made to record stitches. The workshop will explore different techniques such as Drawn Thread Work, Hardanger, and Surface Stitchery, re-creating the long slim pieces of work which were an important part of the embroiderer's workbox.
